In Memory

Eileen O'Neill

I remember Eileen as such a nice human being---such fond memories of her.  I was recently lookng at the yearbook and, seeing a picture of her, was hoping to see her at the reunion.  I am so sad to think she won't be able to attend.......

I was very saddened to see that Eileen has passed.  It's hard to imagine.  Hard to imagine a world without Eileen, walking calmly and gracefully across campus, with that wonderful knowing look on her face. While I was always hurried and scattered and tripping, barely able to keep up with her. I'm eternally grateful to have been touched by her goodness.

Another St. John the Baptist classmate.  Eileen was from a very large family and over my years of working, actually ended up,working with Eileen’s brothers wife, (Terry, class of 1971)!  Such a small world.  Eileen will most certainly be missed....

We were not close friends but I always felt comfortable around Eileen. She was gentle and friendly, and always seemed together, at ease with herself. She gave a sense of balance to the air around her. Pretty awesome qualities for a girl still just in high school. I hope her life was full and happy.
