I was saddened by the news of Ken's passing. Ken and I were roommates after high school. I have such great memories of him and I sailing in Newport Harbor. We would leave school (after class) and go sailing for the day on a small Lido 14. He taught me a lot about sailing.
We even decided to go to Park City, Utah at the last minute, no money, no job, in the middle of winter, and no place to stay. It all worked out. He got a job with the Ski Patrol, and I drove a van getting hotel guests to the ski center.
In the past I have tried to reach out to him with no luck.
