Sadly, Robin apparently died in a dune buggy accident in 1994. Losing her so young, I am sure she has been missed so much over the years and will be missed at our reunion this year. Her gravestone says, "We all miss you." Simple.............and says so much.
Robin was born on August 10, 1951 in Orange, California. She was married to John Schroeder, divorced, and later married Matthew Michalski and they had one child, Ruth Ellen. She was the office manager for Cal-Wall Drywall in Orange, CA for many years. Robin was the light of her friends and family’s lives. Her laughter will be missed by everyone who knew her. She loved the Laughlin area and has been described as a “heck of a fisherman”.

I've know her since we were four or five. We were born in the same hospital, Santa Ana Community, and my Mom said the same day. Although, I think a day or two seperated us. I went to her fth birthday party and I think Jim Wade was there also. I should have know her better but, just was too shy. Fond memories, Bart Hinesly

As I connect with classmates over the reunion, I'm impressed by how many are "native" Costa Mesans like Bart, Art Bishop, Deb O'Neal and, as I've just learned, Robin. As an immigrant to Costa Mesa when I turned twelve, I feel being a native is something special. Worth recognizing and honoring our classmates at the reunion with at least a show of hands, including those no longer with us like Robin Sheflin. Mike Woodard
