Jim Meyers, I think we were both in the big class in the Lyceum. Tall and lanky, he remenided me of the actor Jimmy Stewart - his grin and voice and a bit of "aw shucks". Always good natured and agreeable. He was very young, not long after high school I don't think, when he was in a motorcycle accident and died. And I am sorry I cannot remember how I heard of his passing. It is very sad to know his life was too short, he was a good person. Jim's sister Karen was one of his biggest supporters and I am sorry for her loss.
Yes, Jim was all those things that Nancy said. He was a kind and upbeat person who I understand was studying for the clergy. He died just a few years after our graduation, which saddened me so much.
