I’m very sad to hear about Martha.. I remember her from the days of St. John the Baptist. She was always very nice and I remember her being pretty quiet. She had a contagious smile!
Martha was such a dear person! She defined indomitable (Ken Cave vocabulary word!). If something went wrong she would smile ever so bravely, and she just kept going. She was thoughtful, supportive and self-effacing. She exemplified goodness. With her passing, the world has lost a true gift!
Her amazing blue eyes, big smile, and quiet ways are what I remember most about Martha. I always had the sense she was comfortable in the world. Somehow that made me more comfortable. I really appreciate that and wish I could thank her. I have the feeling she touched many lives this way.
